Simona comes to the Buffalo Grove studio from the Czech Republic.  She started dancing in her native country at the young age of 6.  At the age of 8, Simona started dancing with her brother in ballroom and latin and enjoyed that partnership until she was 18 years old.  She practiced 7 days a week and participated in many competitions.  Some of her main coaches were from Germany and Slovak Republic.  Simona became the youngest dancer in the highest category in her country.  With her brother as her partner, they entered a competition in Poland, representing the Czech Republic, and won 1st place.  They were strong leaders in ballroom group dancing, dance clubs and workshops.  They captured 1st place in the youth ballroom category!  Simona comes to us already trained in dancing, but add to it her class, elegance and gentle way and she can only embellish your experience in the ballroom dance world.
