Shannon has been immersed in the dance community since she was a youth studying ballet, jazz, and hip hop.  As a teenager, she was on her high school Poms Squad and was an instructor and choreographer for a Poms camp for children in the Chicagoland area.  Shannon is also an excellent instrumentalist, her primary instruments are saxophone and percussion. 

She began ballroom dancing in 2007 and within a few months, she was competing at a National Level.  Shannon has won numerous Top Dancer awards including Top Bronze Female in 2010 and Ladies
"A " National Open Rhythm Champion. 

Shannon became a Professional Ballroom Dancer in the Spring of 2011 and since then has been following her dreams of sharing her love of dance with her students.
