Stephen, a native of Toronto Canada was raised in a home that was overflowing with a passion for the arts.  At a young age, he realized that he had a natural talent for music, dance, and drama.

Upon moving to the US, he quickly joined various Performing Arts Groups and began fine tuning his skills as a “triple threat”.  Although he excelled academically, Stephen felt drawn to a life on the stage.  He enrolled at Bradley University as a double major in Theatre and Vocal Performance and wowed critics and fans for four years.  During his time there, he had the opportunity to train with several choreographers including Sandra Kaufman, former Artistic Director of the Martha Graham Ensemble, Chuck Davis of the African American Dance Ensemble, and his idol, Lane Alexander of the Chicago Human Rhythm Dance Project.  Stephen spent some time after school traveling with a touring production Company doing as many as 14 shows a week!

Stephen is a master of both the technical and artistic sides of Ballroom Dancing and delights in working with students from beginners to competitors.
